Doll Clothes

Doll clothes often come with a specific figure. Others may be sized for a particular toy type but sold separately. Still others of these apparel items may be sold in general sizes to fit a wide variety of figures.

Proper care is necessary to ensure that doll clothes last. This is particularly true of older heirlooms and collector items. Be careful to store and display these products with other materials which are compatible. For instance, bags and containers made of plastic have the potential of off-gassing harmful vapors.

Doll clothes are also put at risk of developing mold when kept in airtight containers. They may also be stained or eroded through contact with bare metals. When storing dolls, it is best to do so with acid-free materials. These are often widely available at art supply stores.
